This group offers a safe, supportive space for those healing from religious trauma — fostering connection, restoration, and the freedom to reclaim your voice.

Reclaiming Sacred Space is a compassionate 5-week virtual support group for adults healing from the impact of high-control religious environments, spiritual abuse, or faith-based harm. Whether you’re deconstructing your beliefs, rebuilding trust in yourself, or simply seeking space to process what happened; you are welcome here.

Facilitated by Samantha Kipfinger, MSW, this group offers a safe, nonjudgmental environment to explore your story, connect with others who understand, and begin the work of healing in community.

Together, we’ll unpack the effects of religious trauma, learn grounding tools, process grief, and begin to reclaim your autonomy, voice, and sense of sacred—on your terms.

You don’t have to untangle it all alone. Healing is possible, and it begins here.

This Group is for Individuals Who:

Are healing from harmful religious experiences

Whether from a high-control group, spiritual abuse, or legalistic teachings, you’re looking to process what happened in a supportive space.

Are questioning, deconstructing, or rebuilding belief systems

You may be unsure what you believe now—or you’re seeking to redefine faith, identity, and values on your own terms.

Feel isolated, confused, or stuck in shame

You want to connect with others who understand and learn tools to navigate grief, guilt, and fear with compassion and clarity.

Reclaiming Sacred Space is not

A space for comparison; each journey is unique.

A place to debate theology or convert others.

A place where you have to be "strong" or hide your feelings.
